Gaylon "Whitey" Harrell convicted

After two whole days of trial, including jury selection, Gaylon "Whitey" Harrell was convicted today on 3 misdemeanor counts of not filing Illinois state income tax returns. Sentencing is scheduled for February 5, 2009.

Whitey Harrell trial to begin again

Whitey Harrell's trial for not filing state income tax returns was originally scheduled for late June, 2008. His attorney had a heart attacked and was hospitalized causing the trial to be delayed. The trial is scheduled to begin at 9 am this morning in Logan County, Illinois.

We are reminded of the extent of the federal corruption when Dave recounts this tale of tyranny in which the rogue judge tells him that he has no Fifth Amendment rights in his courtroom. As the judge's integrity degenerates, he puts Dave in handcuffs and has him jailed. Hours later he is returned to the courtroom in leg irons and chains.

Irwin's hearing date changed...again

According to Angela, Irwin has called her to say that his court date
has been moved forward from 9/17 to 9/5, tomorrow Friday. If you are
anywhere near Las Vegas please drop everything and attend in his
support!  Best check first with the Clerk, to make sure it's not just
another attempt to jerk everyone around. The number is  (702) 464-5400
and the case #, CR-00119-KJD-LRL.

He also said his motions (which can be read via "APPEAL" on
www.TakeLifeBack.com/irwin) were awaiting him at the court when he was
hauled out of bed yesterday for an early-morning dress "rehearsal" of
some kind.

So now we can see what's been going on. They really hate the idea he
should fight back and assert his rights, so they deprived him of his
written files until the last moment, moved him across the country
without information so as to keep him guessing, kept him in a
notorious hell-hole of a detention center with poor food, published a
court date first of 8/5 then of 9/17 and actually scheduled the
hearing for 9/5, giving this 80-year-old just two days to refresh his
memory about what he's going to say and making it probable that few
supporters can re-arrange our schedules at short notice so as to be
there and encourage him.

This is government "justice." This post gives all SSCers within travel
distance of Vegas the chance to show the bastards their strategem

Irwin's Contempt hearing has been postponed until September 17th in Las Vegas.

Whitey Harrell's Trial delayed

Whitey Harrell's trial was supposed to start on June 23. However, because of his attorney's health problems and being hospitalized, the trial has been rescheduled for October 20, 2008.

Whitey Harrell 2nd trial has begun

Whitey Harrell's trial has started after a year and a half of all that pre-trial stuff. He has been charged with failing to file a state income tax return. In may of 200o, he was acquitted on four counts of failing to file. The state then changed the law but did a poor job of it and so Whitey was still not required to file. But, the government ignores the law when it becomes inconvenient.

Schiff contempt hearing rescheduled

Irwin had his contempt hearing this week by video conference. For whatever reason, his attorney was unable to be effective. So, Irwin will be transported to Las Vegas in the near future to have an in person hearing. Check back for the date.

Fred Marshall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Hi Fred I have been hearing that the food that we get here is what the grocery stores reject or send back after it has sat a while. After having some kind of "ground beef" put on my plate for three days in a row, I finally asked my cell mate, who works in the kitchen, if it is true, and she basically confirmed that our food is very suspect. With that said, I am asking you to give information to the caring, to send money to me, if they want, so that when they put "mystery meat" on my plate I can come upstairs and have tuna, sardines or something I know is safe. Right now Colin is starting to hurt for funds and he was not able to send me any money this month. My cousin sent a little, but I am asking people that care to send a little once in a while so that the burden won't be on one or two people. I don't want to get sick in here because I hear that there is really no health care. I pray over the food that I do eat, but lately I have been going hungry because even the lady that put the meat on my plate whispered to everyone that came by that THIS MEAT IS BAD.
